Automation Service Technician position open in the Greenville, SC area for an electro-mechanical service technician who understands mechatronics and how to repair and troubleshoot AMR or AGV in manufacturing. Direct hire, salaried position with benefits!

In this role, you will be working for a global company that provides Autonomous Mobile Robots or Automated Guided Vehicles to a well-known manufacturer in the Upstate. Overseas travel may be required for training.

Job Duties:

• Represent company in a professional manner at Upstate client, managing AMR/AGV preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Be able to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues such as sensors, wires, wheels, chassis, and software (light networking, wireless).
• Perform emergency services during your shift.
• Keep track of parts and tools inventory.

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electronic, or mechatronics.
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery equipment and be self-sufficient and self-managed.
• Previous experience in Automated Guided Vehicles and Autonomous Mobile Robots preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of hardware, software and machines.
• Basic Networking and database experience.
• AutoCAD engineering drawing reading.
• Operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Windows and PLC
