Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: * Managing and maintaining agency-level VoIP, or IP telephony, systems at Washington Metro Area and OCONUS facilities. * Ensuring VoIP is effectively managed through proper configuration of network devices and prioritization on WAN/MAN and Voice trunks and analyze and report on network traffic.
* Configure, troubleshoot and maintaining on-premise Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco ISR voice routers, transition to softphones, and migration to the cloud (UCaaS).
* Analyzing Video Teleconferencing in VTC usage and make recommendations for adjustments. * Supporting the transition of existing workflows and call trees into call management systems and support program changes on VoIP systems and call manager systems.
* Analyzing, isolating, and resolving Cisco VOIP system problems including but not limited to technical, procedural, operational, and functional issues with all major Cisco telephone applications, including Call Manager, Unity Connection, Jabber, and Emergency Responder.
* Supporting telecommunications using Internet Protocol Versions 4 & 6 (IPV4/IPV6).
* Reconfiguring VoIP management systems to support moves, adds and changes to telephony services.
* Performing voicemail resets and number changes for VoIP communications systems.
* Responding to VoIP incident/problem management requests and collaborating with service desk to resolve issues.
* Maintaining, troubleshooting, resolving, and responding to network problems; and coordinating solutions with outside vendors, users, and information technology staff; and managing network communication projects with various vendors.
* Participating in monthly after-hours maintenance activities as needed to keep telephony services properly configured and upgraded.
* Processing and coordinating requests for telephony service changes in accordance with SLAs, approved Technical Architecture Design (TAD), SOPs, change requests and other Agency required proces.*Contingent on Contract Award* Qualifications Basic Qualification: * An active SECRET or the ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
* Bachelor's degree with 5 - 7 years, or master's degree with 3 - 5 years, or PhD with 1 - 2 years' experience is required; four (4) years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree. * Experience supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Multimedia Communication Server (CS) and Video Teleconferencing (VTC).
* Ability to provide expertise to design, install, integrate, and manage new and existing video and video teleconferencing systems, desktop video teleconferencing (DVTC) system.
* Must be well-versed in Primary Rate Interface (PRI) and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) through multiple carriers.
* Experience in telecommunications disaster recovery, strategic planning, and execution.
Preferred Qualification: * Minimum 5 years of related engineering and support experience in UC, VoIP, video conferencing, and telecom services
* Cisco CCNP Collaboration or higher certification preferred, or other applicable Cisco certifications/experience.
Target Salary Range $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
