Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team. This individual will serve as the primary technical interface for the Desktop Platform activities and desktop support technical activities . The selected individual will be responsible for managing desktop and application administration, resolve user support issues while collaborating with other support personnel, participate in and lead initiatives and projects, meet deadlines, and deliver quality results, provide direct technical assistance and support to Technical Support Specialists and work directly with customers to resolve issues in live production environments.

What you'll do:

• Provide support for Windows and MAC desktop and laptop computers for large enterprise with over 10,000 users
• Provide hardware support for desktops and laptops
• Manage deployments, software deployments, and updates.
• Utilize Remote Support tools to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Qualifications

What you'll need:

Required Qualifications:

• BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2 or 9 years of experience in the IT field supporting user enviroments within the desktop and server space in lieu of degree
• At least 3 years' experience in the server administration and DPM field.
• ITIL Certification desired
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
