Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Senior IT Manager to work on-site at Camp Smith, HI.

This experienced Senior IT Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Provides support and oversees the successful completion and management of IT projects for all cyber operations and associated sections.
• Assist in planning and coordinating a cross‐functional team’s activities to manage and implement IT projects and/or interrelated projects.
• Identifies and assembles the appropriate blend of resources to meet IT project/program needs and requirements.
• Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities related to multiple IT projects/programs concurrently.
• Leads the IT project/program team(s) in determining client requirements and translating requirements into operational plans.
• Establishes appropriate metrics for measuring key IT program criteria.
• Facilitates the creation of communication plans, ensuring that appropriate information is exchanged among key stakeholders.
• Advises senior management on IT project management capability and risk.
• Maintains awareness on emerging technologies and IT project/program management techniques.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of 12 years experience. Will consider BS with commensurate experience. 
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to effectively manage, collaborate and contribute to a team.
• Ability to preform customer facing engagement with positive outcomes.
• Must have knowledge of the U.S. military structure, culture, and language, specifically the USMC.
• Ability to develop and present information in technical exchange meetings.
• Must have DoD Secret Clearance.
