Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates all activities associated with creating software across multiple functional areas and products. Prioritizes and allocates projects, products, and resources with the assistance of architects and managers.
• Participates in the strategic decisions about technology, definition, and implementation of the software products.
• Development and/or modification of computer-based scientific, technical, and business software systems.
• Uses expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software. Work on equipment or software design, engineering evaluation or test, configuration management procedures, statistical analysis and modeling.
• Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives. Provides analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases.
• Performs tasks necessary to ensure the identification and documentation of hazards within software systems using various analysis tools and techniques.
• Reviews and evaluates systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria concerning software safety and systems safety.
• Confirms design mitigations are captured in the design and its documentation and verifies implementation.
• Organizes projects through development of a project plan which includes communication of product goals as defined by top management, definition of project strategy, identification of the roles and responsibilities of key project groups, development of a schedule with key milestones, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of project resources. Monitors technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• BS 4 years OR HS 8-10 years experience
• Mobile development for Android JNI (Java Native Interface) experience Low-level operating systems experience for Android (could be Linux background) Reverse Engineering, and Networking Development
• Must hold current/active Top Secret / SCI with CI Poly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred experience with or knowledge of the operational methodologies employed by the USCYBERCOM and MARFORCYBER Cyber Mission Force (CMF) capability development teams and/or national agency computer network operations development teams in support of Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO).
