Per Mar Security Services has been a family owned and operated, full-service security company since its inception in 1953. We provide security officer, electronic security, fire alarm and background and investigative services, serving customers in multiple states throughout the Midwest region.

Per Mar Security Services is looking to hire a full-time security officer in Springfield, IL. The position will be assigned to a cannabis dispensary. Must be 21 years of age.

$20 per hour and optional company benefits. 

The shift for this position consists of Friday - Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. 32.5 Hours per Week

Pre-Employment includes a background check, drug screen, and new hire orientation. 

This is an unarmed position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and check ID's 
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Complete patrols of facility property
- Other duties as directed by the client

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Must follow all Per Mar policies 
• Strong attention to detail
• Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security – Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.
• Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
