Hospital is seeking a Cardiology Supervisor to work a 13 week assignment with possibilty to extend to temp to perm. 8 hour shifts/ 40 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in a science or in a health related field

Experience: Five (5) years of increasingly responsible cardiac care experience in a healthcare setting, either inpatient acute care or outpatient, performing cardiology services three (3) years of experience at the lead level. Certification: Possess and maintain the following certifications:

• Registered Cardiac Sonography program (RDCS) issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) issued by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Substitution for Education: Additional experience in a lead capacity in a healthcare setting, either inpatient acute care or outpatient, performing cardiology services may be substituted for the required education on a year for year

basis up to a maximum of two (2) years.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of:

• Sonography physics and examination techniques

• Standard hospital principles of organization and management practices applicable to cardiology services

• Federal, State, and local regulatory standards

• Accepted principles and practices of management and supervision

• Modern principles of administration including budget forecasting and control, inventory control, and management information systems

• The care and operation of cardiology equipment

• The anatomy of the human body

• The occupational hazards and safety precautions in Cardiology

• Modern office methods and procedures, tools and office equipment 

Compensation based on a 40 hour work week: $3210.00 gross per week. Paid weekly.
