• Work to completion on set-up, tear-down, and clean-up of all areas used by the event.
• Facilitate customer service with a positive and professional attitude.
• Monitor crowd control in the location of the event.
• Know and enforce all climbing wall policies and procedures.
• Visually inspect equipment, topes, and facility during opening and closing of the wall and report any problems immediately to the climbing wall supervisor.
• Provide supervision of climbing wall participants to include belaying and spotting climbers.
• Handle all injuries, incidents, and emergency situations in accordance with the RiverPlex Recreation Centers guidelines.
• Provide assistance to climbers by:
  • Determining eligibility of individuals to use the climbing wall.
  • Teach/demonstrate the proper use of climbing equipment.
  • Maintaining accurate and current records of attendance.
  • Accurately complete all forms and checklists.
• Following all safety procedures that pertain to the duties performed. Supporting all aspects of the Park District's safety program.
• Performing all other duties as assigned.
