Landscaper & Groundskeeper Job Details :
- Schedule : Monday - Friday 8AM - 3 : 30 PM
- Pay Rate : $16.00 / hr
- Position is to last through Spring - Fall 2024

Landscaper & Groundskeeper Job Description :
- Regularly mow, trim, and edge the grass, ensuring that the cemetery grounds are aesthetically pleasing and free of overgrowth.
- Dig and fill graves as needed, ensuring they are prepared in accordance with established procedures and in a compassionate manner.
- Arrange and maintain floral displays, wreaths, and other memorial decorations, ensuring they are displayed respectfully and replaced as necessary.
- Clean and repair headstones and grave markers to preserve their integrity and readability.
- Collect and dispose of litter and debris throughout the cemetery, maintaining a clean and tidy appearance.
- Interact courteously with visitors, providing directions, information, and assistance when needed, and offering empathy and support to grieving families.
Landscaper & Groundskeeper Job Requirements :
- Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds
- Must be reliable and on time everyday
- Must pass a nationwide background check and urine drug screen
- Must be able to commute to Petersburg, VA
- Any Landscaping experience is a plus!
