Job Details for Remote Collections and Customer Service Reps:
- Salary: $16 hour and opportunity for large compensation once you get hired perm
- Rotational schedule of daytime, and nighttime hours weekly. Two Sat mornings a month also required.
- Temp to hire position/ computer equipment provided
- Must live in the Philadelphia area
Job Responsibilities & Description for Remote Collections and Customer Service Reps:
- Confer with students by telephone in an attempt to determine the reason for overdue payments and to request payment
- Record information about the financial status of customers and the status of collection efforts
- Update collection systems to reflect action and result codes of each event
- Negotiate with student on payment plan
Requirements for Remote Collections and Customer Service Reps:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must live in the Philadelphia area
- 3 years of recent 3rd party collections experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as financial aid documents, and produce correspondence
- Effective communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office-specifically Excel
