As an Automotive Production Maintenance Technician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support Industrial Projects throughout Charleston, SC. Typically assisting in downtime, facility & Instrument upgrades, & new facility expansions with production maintenance. Experience working in Maintenance, Millwright, Electrical, &/or Body Shop Experiences should have you set up for success in this role.

Responsibilities may include:

• 8-hour daily , overtime possible
• Review maintenance needs for ongoing Production levels
• Measure, cut, & install or replace machinery components promptly
• Maintain detailed records on all activities and consumables.
• Communicate effectively with multiple personnel & contractors as needed.
• Perform Troubleshooting & preventative maintenance on robotic equipment, program controls, power sources, & general equipment upkeep
• Follow SOPs & safety guidelines to keep production equipment within tolerances
• Understand welding processes as they relate to different stages of production
• Perform adjustments and alignment of production processes along the production line
• Build & expand on existing technologies, equipment, & data processing requirements as needed in the production line changes to ensure seamless integration & implementation of new procedures

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Associate Tech Degree or field experience with Industrial Production Maintenance is preferred
• Prior experience in Welding (Laser & MIG/MAG )is preferred
• Prior experience in robotic Automotive manufacturing is preferred
• Prior experience in sheet metal fabrication is preferred
• Ability to work with Siemens controls is preferred
• Ability to collaborate & resolve issues quickly is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
