Job Opportunity: Lead Operator (Direct Hire) in Evansville, IN
About Us: Peoplelink Staffing is searching for a talented Lead Operator for a direct hire position in Newburgh, IN. Join our team and become an integral part of a dynamic organization committed to excellence in thermoplastic compounding.
Pay Range: Competitive and based on experience level. $25 - $30 per hour.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate daily production activities.
• Set up and operate production equipment, particularly twin screw extruders.
• Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Train and mentor production team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a lead operator of a twin screw extruder (minimum 4 years required).
• Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment operation.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and lead by example.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience level
