Die Cast Operator
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with the #1 aluminum knuckle manufacturer in the world, located in Auburn, Indiana, is looking for a Die Cast Operator.
The Die Cast Operator operates the die cast machine and trim press machine to produce aluminum cast parts in accordance with quality specifications.
$19.00 / hour
1st Shift - 6 : 30am - 2 : 30pm
2nd shift - 2 : 30pm - 10 : 30pm
3rd Shift - 10 : 30pm - 6 : 30am
Die Cast Operator Job Responsibilities :
- Operate all cell equipment including Die cast machines, Trim presses, Automatic sprayers, Extraction equipment, Hoists, Holding Furnaces, Tip Lubricators, Hot Oil Units, Vacuum Units, Metal Lading Equipment, Shot Blast Equipment
- Perform basic PM’s and repairs.
- Apply die lubricants.
- Remove casting from tool.
- Use required gauges.
Die Cast Operator Requirements :
- At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Employees are expected to work and attend in-person meetings as necessary.
- Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 55 pounds regularly.
- Ability to read, write, perform basic math calculations, and complete visual inspections.
