RN Registered Nurse

POCAAN is seeking an RN to join our Senior Medical Mobile Services Outreach team! You will focus on providing high-quality patient care as part of a mobile healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Senior Care Experience
• Footcare Experience
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Degree in Nursing and Certification to practice in Washington State.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
• Must have a valid Washington State Driver's License.
• Experience in building coalitions and partnerships.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking and written reporting; workshop facilitation experience is a plus.
• A problem solver and self-starter who demonstrates the ability to think fast on their feet; a team player; able to multitask; attentive to detail
• Familiarity with non-profit training or social service organizations, with good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• I am proficient in Microsoft Office—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System.
