About the Campaign:

Hello! I am Kevin Keys, and I am running for Michigan State Representative for District 5. Our campaign is focused on bringing positive change to our community by advocating for key issues that matter most to our constituents. As we strive for success and progress, we are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as campaign interns.

Position Overview:

As the Director of Stakeholder and Community Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, cultivating, and managing relationships with businesses and organizations in and around our district. You will be responsible for securing sponsorship and partnership agreements, aligning them with our campaign's mission and fundraising goals. Your ability to understand and communicate our campaign's objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) will be crucial to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify Prospective Partnerships:
  • Research and identify potential companies and businesses within our district that align with our campaign's mission and values.
  • Develop a comprehensive list of prospects to target for sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
  • Outreach and Relationship Building:
  • Initiate contact with prospective partners through various communication channels.
  • Craft compelling introductions and presentations to articulate the campaign's mission and the benefits of partnering with us.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with stakeholders and community partners.
  • Mission and Goal Alignment:
  • Understand our campaign's mission statement thoroughly and ensure prospective partners share our values and vision.
  • Communicate how their support will contribute to the achievement of our campaign's fundraising goals.
  • KPI Understanding:
  • Familiarize yourself with our campaign's key performance indicators (KPIs) and be able to explain them to potential partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to track and report progress to partners as needed.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Serve as a spokesperson for the campaign, effectively communicating our objectives and the benefits of partnership to stakeholders.
  • Tailor your messaging to different audiences and adapt your communication style as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in stakeholder or community partnership development, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Strong understanding of mission-driven organizations and their objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $500.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evenings as needed
  • Weekends as needed
