Dedicated to Excellence, Committed to Service Assistant to Clerical Support Supervisor The Assistant to the Clerical Support Supervisor assists in processing various clerical jobs, answering phones, managing timesheets, scheduling chaperones and desk coverage, and helping to coordinate training times. The Assistant also maintains office records and inventory and helps with problem solving. Provide Clerical Support Assist the Clerical Support office by handling paperwork such as tickler files, time sheets, office supply orders and inventory, word processing logs, and proofing. Answer phones and monitor the Word Processing and Proofing email. Handle ministry requests for copier service needs. Must be able to multitask while ensuring detailed results. Manage Timesheets Check Clerical Support and outlying office attendance daily. Collect time discrepancies from workers and log necessary information on the time sheets. Keep Records Organize and maintain Clerical Support project lists and files. Log incoming word processing work and help process letters and projects for various departments. Maintain records for printer and copier repair needs. Coordinate Chaperones and Desk Coverage Schedule chaperones for Maintenance and IT departments. Coordinate desk coverage for outlying office assistant desks, support for projects in other areas, and runners to make deliveries. Cover desks as needed. Consult with the Clerical Support Supervisor and Clerical Support Training Coordinator in assessing training needs, knowledge, and skills that need to be improved. FLSA Status - Scanning (Non-exempt) Education College Degree: Office Systems, HS (Required) Work Experience 1 years in an office, 1 years in management Physical Requirements and Skills Capable of standing and walking for long periods of time, Detail-Oriented, Microsoft Applications, Operating Office Equipment, Oral Communications, Sitting for long periods of time, Written Communication Ideal candidates must be born-again Christians and must be dedicated to training young people for serving God; and must desire to educate students based on biblical values and be committed to excellence as a Christian educator who glorifies Christ as the source of all wisdom and knowledge.
