SUMMARY
Perform a wide variety of prescribed duties for final operations of manufactured products for finished goods.
E SSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES i nclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Work from work orders, diagrams, written and verbal instructions to clean, stamp, deburr, grind, chamfer, etch or stamp and move products to designated locations.
Evaluate products for needed finishing work to be done and consult with department leader and/or supervisor prior to beginning work to products.
G ri nd, chamfer and deburr parts for final finishes, dimensions and appearances. Operate fork truck to move supplies and materials to other areas.
Move, lift, and carry material and parts to work areas, bins and skids.
Maintain clear and orderly work areas for movement of materials and parts. Setup and operate machines and equipment as directed.
R efer questionable conditions to supervisor or appropriate personnel.
O perate stamping and finishing equipment such as, but not limited to, vibro- etcher, stampers, drill press, grinders, deburrers, bench devices, wash machine, fork lift truck and use hand tools and basic measuring instruments.
R esponsible to prepare and submit/record production records, accurate piece counts, reports and forms required by company procedures.
O bserve all company policies and regulations including safety, housekeeping and quality of work with support of ISO procedures and standards.
U ti l i z e individually and/or further the use of total quality concepts, tools and techniques to support continuous quality improvement in all processes in which the position participates with a positive "Can Do" attitude.
Support, encourage and maintain a positive team working atmosphere throughout the company.
Perform other duties as requested or necessary to meet business conditions and changes.

C W - HR - 021-IN (Deliberate Malpractice Prevention)
N J -I N SP-040-IN (Quality Guidelines for Grinding Forgings) NJ-FRG-010-CH (Forging Grade and Marking Chart)
C W -I D - 306-CH (Location and Orientation of Product Markings)
EDUCAT ION and/or EXPERIENCE -
H i gh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or over three months up to and including 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
LAN G UA G E SKILLS
A bility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present
i nformation in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and
other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
A bility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REA SONING ABILITY
A bility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but
uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
