Pennington County is Hiring a 24/7 Program Technician Near , SD

Are you interested in a fast-paced, team oriented part-time employment? Do you want to be a part of the criminal justice system? The Pennington County Sheriff's Office 24/7 Sobriety Program is looking for YOU!The 24/7 Tech is responsible for collecting breath and/or urine samples from multiple individuals. This position requires close and courteous interaction with program clients, cash handling, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The program staff conducts testing 7 days per week during the hours of 5:30 - 8:30 am and 5:30 - 8:30 pm.Hours and days will vary requiring the right applicant to have a flexible schedule.Due to staffing levels, this position is currently open to Male applicants at this time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Administering PBT and urinalysis tests to participants
Data Entry of test results
Handling and recording monetary transactions
Reporting and documenting violations
Communicating with program stakeholders, coworkers and participants
Performing other duties as assigned

Attending monthly all staff meetings

High School Diploma or GED
1 year money handling experience
1 year demonstrated experience in a multi-tasking role
Preference for those with working experience in the criminal justice system.

Preference for those with limited scheduling conflicts.
