PENNANT MOLDINGS LLC is Hiring a Press Operator - 2 Near Lebanon, TN
Description:
- Operate stamping presses and related process equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures, work instructions, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and procedures are met during operations
- Identify process problems and perform troubleshooting before notifying the appropriate personnel
- Read and interpret job specifications to determine machine set up, machine adjustments, material requirements, production methods, and sequence of operation
- Stock machine and apply lubricants to material
- Set electronic press controls for proper feed stroke, pilot pin release, air blast, lube shot, and die protection
- Inspect work pieces for conformance to specifications and adjust the machine to correct errors
- Ensure parts are properly stacked or packed for movement or shipment
- Responsible for having a basic understanding of Die Set Up
- Assists in training new hires
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
- Complete all other duties as assigned by the team lead or supervisor
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
Requirements:
- Metal stamping experience required; minimum 2-3 years machine operating experience
- Knowledge of raw material, production process, and quality control
- Able to lift to 50lbs unassisted repetitively
- Basic math and measuring equipment skills
- Strong attention to detail and emphasis on quality
- Must be reliable and have good attendance
- Must demonstrate the desire and aptitude to take Extreme Ownership of their role
