A well-established contractor located in New Castle, DE is seeking a VDC / BIM Operator to join their team. This person will work within the Design Build Department to provide support to all phases of modeling / detailing for project estimating, development and execution.
- Job Responsibilities : Develop BIM structural models and CAD drawing files based on engineer's notes, sketches, and directions;
Prepare complete and accurate structural drawings, including checking and coordinating details and dimensions; Analyzing BIM designs, creating take-offs, editing designs, working with departments Engineers, Estimators and BIM Coordinators.
- Perform ongoing reviews of structural models and drawings, checking for accuracy and completeness.; Accurately estimate the time required for assigned tasks and manage time appropriately;
- Adhere to all Schuff standards and procedures, and assist in developing new standards, procedures, and standard details as required;
