SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

Responsible for independently implementing nutritional care to patients within established standards of practice. Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to develop and manage ketogenic diet plans for the control of seizure activity in children. Work with the patient, family, and caregivers to modify the plan over time, as needed to maintain a ketogenic state.

Part-time registered and licensed dietitian

Work with ketogenic diet for seizure control in pediatric patients

Mostly outpatient but able to assist with inpatient admissions when they occur

Back up for PKU clinic

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Bachelor's Degree required

1 year of experience required

Registered Dietitian (or Registry Eligible) required (Commission on Dietetics Registration)

Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (Pennsylvania) or eligible for licensure required
