JOB SUMMARY:

Primarily assists Radiology staff in providing non-technical support to the various specific departments of Radiology. Expedites procedures through direct patient contact including patient transportation, specimen transportation, preparation and clean up of patient exam rooms and other related assistance. Involves clerical support such as processing film jackets, answering the phone, and scheduling studies. Individualized duties by area defined following general duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

High School or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

Experience in a medical setting preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Six (6) months of customer service experience preferred.

Medical Office experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Demonstrates strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Demonstrates an understanding of medical terminology and basic computer skills required.

Experience in a medical setting preferred.

Ability to prioritize work and manage time required.
