SUMMARY OF POSITION :

The Nyes Rd - Suite E office hosts all Cardiac/Vascular needs among the Penn State Health Nyes Road offices! This office typically sees 90 patients/day and operates primarily on an 8-hour shift during the work week, typically between a 7a to 5:30p schedule.

The hired Medical Office Associate (MOA) will be responsible for handling the patient check-in and check-out process, scheduling, and collecting patient co-pays. Moreover, the hired MOA will oversee the E-message pool to answer/sort patient inquiries and handle insurance verification.

Nyes Rd - Suite E is seeking an MOA with great enthusiasm and customer service ability! If you are seeking to join a team that takes team building to the next level and hosts weekly food trucks – Nyes Rd Suite E is the office for you!

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

High School Diploma or equivalent required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

6 months of customer service experience preferred

Medical Office experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Basic computer skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to effectively interact with a variety of staff and patients

Ability to operate a personal computer and general office equipment

Ability to maintain effective working relationship with other employees

Ability to solve problems, or seek assistance from supervisor when necessary
