Come and join our fast-paced Cardiology Unit! Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to work 7p-730am. This is a Level III Per Diem with the requirements of Five shifts per schedule period (24 of these hours must be fulfilled on a weekend shift), two holidays per year, two “hard to staff” days per year.

The Telemetry Unit provides a comprehensive team approach to medical nursing and psychosocial needs of patients and families. The nursing ratio of 1:4-5 allows the patient’s physical, psychological, and social needs to be addressed.

The Telemetry Unit is comprised of Medical, Cardiology, and Intermediate Care patients. Common diagnosis includes CHF, Cardiac Dysrhythmias, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Myocardial Infarction, Pacemakers, and Cardiac effusions. Nurses will care for patients Pre/Post Cardioversions, Cardiac Catheterization, and Stress Tests.

What We Require for this Role:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required or in pursuit of.

Related Work Experience

  • Minimum of 15 months RN working experience.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
  • Active NJ RN license required.
