PennEngineering is seeking a motivated, excited, individual to be a part of our Marketing team. As the Internal Communications Manager at PennEngineering, you'll collaborate with teams that do truly amazing things.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Create daily communications and messaging through multiple mediums and channels to inform and engage global employees.
  • Build comprehensive communications strategies, engagement, and execution plans aligned to corporate priorities that are grounded in communications' best practices and a deep understanding of how the business operates.
  • Serve as an expert, Executive partner and primary contact for all internal communications and projects across business units and corporate functions
    Counsel internal stakeholders on appropriate communication channels and target audiences for maximum impact of each message
    Ensure ongoing cross-functional information sharing across the organization through various channels
  • Foster strong relationships with Executive management to develop clear, consistent, and creative communications, segmented by target audience, that drive strategic business objectives.

Content Curation & Creation

  • Development of impactful, compelling content designed around storytelling principles to personalize the narrative in a way that resonates, is relatable, and captures PennEngineering's business objectives.
  • Writing, editing and delivery of all communications.
    Film, edit and distribute internal videos highlighting key corporate leaders and initiatives.
    Manage the company's intranet via SharePoint, including publishing of global communications and overseeing aesthetic and functional improvements to promote employee engagement.
  • Develop presentations and other corporate materials, utilizing creative design aligned with PennEngineering branding, to effectively convey key information, narrate engaging corporate stories and build stronger brand identity.

Digital Communications & Execution

  • Collaborate with marketing team to identify opportunities to share internal news via external PR and social media channels to reinforce corporate branding and reputation.
  • Partner with portfolio companies and functions to schedule and create corporate communications content on company media channels
  • Devise and execute communication strategies that maintain high adoption and impactful messaging through PennEngineering digital channels.

Requirements:

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications (PR), Marketing Communications or Journalism
  • Minimum of five to 10 years leading internal communication relationships in a matrix organization
  • Top tier writing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills-including effective storytelling and presentation skills
  • Experience managing and updating company Intranet (SharePoint)
  • Experience filming and editing videos using in-house studio and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proven success in developing and executing internal communications strategies / plans for a large business
  • Solid organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage expectations across multiple, complex projects / priorities
  • Strong executive presence and comfort working with and advising senior management
  • Detail-oriented with fantastic follow-through skills
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization with a cross-functional, virtual team; experience in large corporate settings
  • Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while possessing a high level of comfort with ambiguity
  • Proficient in MS Office suite-including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and One Drive; knowledge of the latest internal communications measurement platforms a plus
  • Ability to remain focused, connected and driven in a remote working environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
