Penmac Staffing is currently seeking a 3rd shift machine operator die casting to fill an opening with ABB located in Fort Smith, AR .

The ideal candidate should have a stable work history that demonstrates reliability. In lieu of work history, we will consider vocational and technical high school and college courses and military service

SHIFT INFORMATION

TRAINING (4 weeks) : 1st shift (6 : 30am-2 : 30pm)

3rd shift : 10 : 30 p.m. 6 : 30 a.m.

Requirements of the 3rd shift machine operator - die casting

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout duration of shift

HS Diploma / GED

Ability to use computers to look up parts and workorders

Good Attendance and punctuality are a must

Skills that would be a plus : -industrial experience, machine operating experience

Willing to submit to a Background check / drug test

Training is completed on 1st shift for up to 4 weeks.

Must be able to work any shift

The position will be working in HOT CLIMATE up to 120 degrees

Responsibilities of the 3rd shift machine operator - die casting

TRAINING (4 Weeks) - 1st shift 6 : 30 a.m. to 2 : 30 p.m. with ability to work OT as required

3rd Shift - 10 : 30 p.m. - 6 : 30 a.m.

Place safety in the workplace above all else and follow safety guidelines alone when reporting safety issues.

Communicate with other operators or supervisors to discuss any part or equipment defects. Identify and order appropriate supplies, parts, and tools as needed.

It requires basic computer skills and the ability to use or learn the Shop Floor Display System.
