ED LPN Position Summary
The ED LPN provides nursing care for emergency and trauma patients. The ED plays a significant role in the hospitals Stroke, AMI and Trauma Programs. There is also a specialized area for adult and pediatric mental health evaluations. The ED LPN works under the supervision of an RN to provide direct patient care. The ED LPN participates, with the RN in planning care for a broad spectrum of patients. This position is specifically for nursing students that would like to gain clinical, hands-on experience while attending nursing school.
