GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Education Coach will work closely with the Education Manager and the Program Director of Early Learning to train and work with staff at centers to ensure assessments for Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scales (ECERS), Infant/Toddler Environmental Rating Scales (ITERS) and Classroom Assessment and Scoring System (CLASS) – Pre-K, Infant and Toddler are conducted throughout the school year. Additionally, the person in this position will mentor and train teaching staff on an on-going basis to improve teaching strategies that will support Social Emotional Learning and School Readiness goals. The role of the Educational Coach is to build capacity for skills and behaviors focused on goal-setting and achievement for an individual or group.

Should be familiar with classroom assessment like Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scales (ECERS), Infant/Toddler Environmental Rating Scales (ITERS) and Classroom Assessment and Scoring System (CLASS). This person will mentor and train teaching staff on an ongoing basis to improve teaching strategies and social emotional learning.
