Position Title: Construction Draftsman
Location: Becker, MN
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year, plus bonuses and benefits
Job Overview: As a Construction Draftsman, you will be responsible for designing and drafting detailed floor plans for luxury residential homes. Your expertise in creating accurate and aesthetically pleasing drawings will be essential in ensuring the successful execution of our high-end construction projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of architectural principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with our design and construction teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, and construction drawings for luxury residential homes.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and project requirements.
- Utilize CAD software to create accurate and precise architectural drawings.
- Review and modify plans based on feedback from clients and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations.
- Participate in site visits and inspections as needed to verify measurements and gather information.
- Maintain organized project documentation and files.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a draftsman in the residential construction industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Degree in architecture or related field is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
