Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed acute care, inpatient behavioral health facility located south of Boston, in Pembroke, MA. Situated on 26 acres, we offer inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment to teens, adults and older adults, and our services are designed to assess, stabilize, and treat patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems. The Coder/Medical Records Manager is responsible for hands on management of all daily activities of the Medical Records department. The Coder/Medical Records Manager analyzes and codes patient medical records. The Coder/Medical Records Manager routinely meets with direct reports to review their individual results and identifies opportunities to improve performance (productivity, timeliness, and quality). The Coder/Medical Records Manager trains, coaches, and counsels staff members in an effort to develop staff improve teamwork, morale and overall team performance/results.
