Pelmac Industries is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to assist in our New England territory.
You will have outside B2B sales experience in the electronic technology space and preferably within the Life-Safety Security space specifically. Tired of mergers, acquisitions, micromanaging and never having enough to give? This might be the right opportunity for you.
You Will….
- Actively grow revenues within your assigned area.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of products and services offered.
- Keep abreast of new and emerging technologies with an appreciation and understanding of how they pertain to our business.
- Build and foster strong, collaborative business partnerships with both internal and external customers.
- Strategically plan workdays in consideration of prospective opportunities, customer needs and corporate assignments.
- Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers.
Preferred Qualifications…..
- Enjoy all aspects of sales, while taking pride in creating strong partnerships with new and existing customers.
- Manage the sales process from cold call to close.
- Be self-managing – work equally on the road, at home and in the corporate office
- Have excellent oral, written and presentation skills including proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.
- Possess a passion for technology along with the research and self-development it takes to remain on the cutting edge.
- Be comfortable building strong, collaborative business partnerships across all verticals.
- Own reliable transportation and be prepared to use that transportation in the execution of this role.
- Possess aptitude and/or proficiency in building technical solutions designed to meet a customer’s unique needs.
- Successfully complete our extensive drug, driving and background-check process.
