Duties:
- Provide counseling and support to individuals, families, and groups
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy
- Assist clients in accessing community resources and support services
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychologists and psychiatrists, to coordinate care
- Provide crisis intervention and support during emergency situations
- Advocate for clients' rights and needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Valid license or certification as a Social Worker (if required by state)
- Experience working with special education or special needs populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care
