About Pelican Bay Foundation

Pelican Bay Foundation is the premier luxury community in Naples, FL. One of the area’s largest exclusive enclaves, situated on more than three square miles and bordered by pristine white-sand beaches, our community offers the most diverse slate of amenities and activities anywhere in the region.

The Foundation manages all common areas, including two beach facilities and two private beachfront restaurants, two racquets facilities, two boardwalks, the Fitness Center and Wellness Studio, the Community Center, and approximately 90 acres of land.

About the Position

We are seeking a full-time position in Racquets Court Maintenance; this position will be responsible for the daily court grooming and maintenance of racquet centers within Pelican Bay Foundation. You’ll get the opportunity to foster a culture of creating memorable experiences for members and their guests. Our ideal candidate has strong organizational and collaborative skills along with demonstrated experience in dealing with diverse personalities. You will work well under pressure, be a team player, organized, flexible, self-motivated, and reliable.

What You’ll Do

• Brush and line all courts twice daily.
• Operate court roller, spreader and scarifier as scheduled.
• Apply new court material as needed to court area, lines, and low spots.
• Check irrigation fill boxes and valves daily. Repair or replace as needed.
• Replace windscreen fasteners as needed. Paints fences as needed.
• Clean sidewalks and wipe down tables and chairs daily.
• Maintain drainage areas as needed and remove excess material.
• Pressure wash canopies, furniture, deck, and patio.
• Ensure communication with the pro shop staff in order to deliver a positive experience on the court.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area including golf cart.
• Empty trash receptacles daily. 
• Complete First Aid/CPR/AED training – be able to perform as needed.
• Assist with special projects as designated and performs other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Skills & Experience

• Building maintenance experience required. Some knowledge of racquets preferred.
• Ability to develop full knowledge of racquets and building maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read and deliver verbal communication effectively.
• Positive, well-mannered attitude and demeanor
• Ability to meet physical requirements: standing, walking, and carrying up to 50 pounds.

Education

• Minimum high school diploma/GED or equivalent. 
• Any combination of education, training, and work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described.
