Pelazzio is an events venue located in Houston that specializes in Weddings, Quinceaneras, Corporate Events & more!

We are looking for an energetic, outgoing DJ to join our team. The ideal candidate will be well versed in current hits and will be able to work the crowd. This position involves both socializing with clients and providing a fun atmosphere. The successful applicant will have a deep knowledge of current music, as well as experience DJing at weddings or other functions.

Compensation: $650 for 8 hour event.

Job Summary:

Pelazzio is an all-inclusive, affordable reception venue that hosts large-scale weddings, birthday parties, corporate events & more. We need DJs with experience with working these types of events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Host and create a great atmosphere for event guests
• Provide courteous, professional and quality DJ entertainment and event hosting services
• Responsible for pre-event communication/coordination with clients
• Use excellent customer service skills and positive attitude when interacting with guests, vendors, & employees.
• Follow all operating policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all company policies of quality, performance, and attendance.

Activities

• Providing music at events based off client preferences and wishes. (Paperwork provided by Pelazzio)
• Developing playlists
• Interacting with public at parties
• Programming and mixing live at events

Required Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a private event DJ/MC is a pre-requisite.
• Reliable, punctual, and regular in attendance with good communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from Pelazzio Reception Venue for scheduled shifts.
• Must provide own equipment (speakers, mixers, microphones, etc).
• Must maintain a neat, well-groomed, and well-dressed appearance that conveys professionalism at all times.
• Friendly, outgoing, personable personality.
• Ability to take direction well and work well with others.
• Availability to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and/or occasional holiday events.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $81.25 per hour
