Experienced Class A Drivers - Home Weekends, Competitive Pay

If you're an experienced Class A driver with a minimum of 3 months of verifiable Class A driving experience in the last 6 months (or you have 6 months in the last 12 months or 12 months in the last 5 years), we have a great opportunity for you! Get home on weekends, work five days, and be off for two days. Drivers will be through the house 1-2 nights per week so you sleep in the truck 2-3 nights per week.

Please note: Drivers will have either Friday and Saturday off or Saturday and Sunday off as schedules will be assigned based on customer needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Start times between 10 AM and 1 PM, allowing for day and night driving.
• Routes: Pick up deliveries in Reno and deliver to pet stores in NV, CA, UT, WY, MT, and ID. Deliveries in California range from Visalia to the OR border.
• Equipment: Drivers will use electric pallet jacks for deliveries and occasionally utilize lift gates.
• Winter Conditions: Drivers may need to chain up during inclement weather. If a driver is delayed due to weather conditions, they will be paid $18/hour for chaining.
• Truck Assignment: Trucks are assigned, and drivers living 50 miles or more from Reno may take the truck home during home time. Others must park their personal vehicle at the yard and leave the truck at the facility.

Compensation and Benefits:

• First-Year Pay: Drivers can earn up to $82,750 per year.
• Starting Pay: $0.50/CPM on average for approximately 1700-1800 miles per week.
• Stops Pay: $38 per stop (averaging 8 stops per week).
• Additional Pay: Miscellaneous pay, such as chaining at $18/hour, is available to increase weekly earnings to an average of $1590.
• Comprehensive Benefits: Full benefits including medical, paid time off, dental, 401K, and holiday pay, start after 30 days.
• Guaranteed Time Off: Drivers are ensured time off and will be home for both Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Requirements:

• Location: Drivers must live within 70 miles of zip code 89502 in Reno.
• Clean Record: No more than 3 moving violations or incidents in the last three years.
• Accident History: No major preventable accidents in the last 3 years, defined as accidents resulting in over $25K in damage, with no more than one highway accident during that period.
• Driving Record: Reckless/careless driving, rear-end collisions, and rollovers in the last five years are disqualifiers.
• Job Stability: No more than 6 driving jobs in the last three years.
