Pegasus Support Services, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans / Disabled.Maintenance and Energy Optimization Engineer (Contingent on Contract Award) – Atlanta, GASummary:This position will act as a managerial role, leading a maintenance organization consisting of:
- HVAC technicians
- Plumbers
- Electricians
- Develops and manages maintenance programs for large federal buildings using analytical processes such as RCM, FMEA and RCFA.
- Use predictive and condition-based monitoring technologies to assess, evaluate and provide engineering support for central energy plants in large federal buildings.
- Utilizing condition assessments to scope and plan equipment overhauls, specify replacements and repair procedures, and develop asset-based budgets.
- Track and utilize various metrics and KPI’s to evaluate maintenance program effectiveness as it relates to energy and utility conservation.
- Assure failure modes are appropriately addressed.
- Recommend and evaluate proposed modifications.
- Develop and manage an integrated maintenance program for all facilities that incorporates preventive/predictive maintenance (ppm) industry best practices.
- Develop, assess and modify equipment maintenance plans based on analytical processes such as reliability centered maintenance, failure modes and effects, root cause failure analysis, and reliability and cost targets.
- Perform Energy management analyses and studies, track energy usage and savings and work with independent Energy Management Savings Contract.
- Develop and manage asset condition assessment models that use predictive maintenance data to compute condition scores and grades for all major assets.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and metrics relating to the maintenance program for improvement opportunities.
- Consult and communicate with management to develop asset-based budgets and work plans.
- Provide engineering expertise and experience-based knowledge in support of Maintenance, Engineering Resources and Project Management personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical or closely related field, or a Business Management degree.
- Minimum of five (5) years of applicable facilities management, and maintenance engineering experience.
- Experience and Knowledge in:
- Building automation systems, controls, valves, cooling water systems, hydraulic systems, fire suppression, HVAC and other auxiliary systems.
A background check and drug screen will be conducted for this position.
