About the Role

Pegasus is currently looking for a Janitor who can work in Long Beach, Ca. The candidate will work at the Long Beach cruise terminal. by performing the following duties:

What You'll Do:

Essential Functions:

• Sweep, Mop, and Dusting of Cruise Terminal 
• Cleaning of restrooms 
• Fill all dispensers with soap, lotion, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Requires employees to bend, reach, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Pushing, lifting, and carrying items less than 30lbs.
• Repetitive use of hands, wrists, arms, and legs.
  Climbing stairs and ladders.

Skills & Experience

• No experience is necessary. We are willing to train the right individual, but they must be detail orientated and possess the willingness to learn new concepts and demonstrate the ability to perform highly detailed work.
• Good hygiene skills required.
• Open availability: Overtime work and schedule adjustments may be needed/necessary. Holiday work may also be required.

Job Requirements:

• Applicant must provide proof of work authorization, and complete an I9 and E-Verify process
• Must be available to work weekends if needed
• Must be available to work assigned shift
• Must Pass Background Check
• Must meet all eligibility requirements to obtain a Transportation Worker Identity Card (TWIC). Issued by TSA. 
• Floor care experience needed

Physical Requirements:

• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs., and carry 12 lbs. backpack vacuum, as needed.
