PEG’s client is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist. You’ll earn $50,000 a year plus benefits. This is a direct hire, in-office position in Earth City, MO.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you’ll process and analyze payments receivable, identify discrepancies and resolve them with the related intercompany department.
Ensure payments are collected in a timely manner and recorded accurately.
Pull bank support daily to update QuickBooks and manual reconciliations for deposits
Post payments to applicable database.
Analyze client payment files and agree to internal data
Research discrepancies to communicate issues with client services and make adjustments when needed
Review client accounts to identify aging payments and notify customer service to follow-up.
Keep payments up to date to prodetails and client account status when requested
Review checks received and provide to our payment processing department to deposit
Post to related receivable or create manual entry for miscellaneous deposits
Reconcile bank accounts on a scheduled time frame.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL, IT’LL HELP IF YOU HAVE:
A minimum of two years of accounting experience
Associate degree in Business or Accounting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and calendars
Previous experience or knowledge of vlookups and other key formulas, create pivot tables, and manipulate large amounts of data
Experience with QuickBooks
Adaptability to learn multiple accounting databases (Artiva and FACS)
High level of communication - you’ll interact and communicate with client services and departments.
Eye for details and organization skills necessary
