BEREA: Peg & Awl Public House is looking to add experienced kitchen staff. Welcome guests, prepare and serve food for our weekly events, and contribute to a culture steeped in community and creativity. Help us grow our food beverage program and build Berea’s live music scene.

Must have excellent customer service skills, be nimble, and show up with empathy. Current food manager card is required for kitchen. A strong candidate will be self-directed, communicative, comfortable in close quarters with one to two other people, can multi-task like a champ, and a willingness to jump in wherever is needed to help the team. Previous kitchen experience required. Customer service a plus.

Peg & Awl is a two-part business: bar venue inside Rebel Rebel Studio & Lounge and food trailer with outdoor dining and event space next door. We are a community gathering space hosting weekly trivia, open mic, and live music as well as a variety of private events. We've been working to build a nightlife in Berea for the last decade.

Compensation: $10/hr pooled tips with all staff, shift meal drink, and paid time off after a year. Opportunities for professional development.
