Busy Pediatrics office with in house billing seeks an experienced Billing professional to add to our growing team. Responsibilities will include:

• Following up on claims with insurance carriers
• Contacting patient families regarding outstanding balances
• Working claims out of a billing queue
• Navigating the PedsConnect Epic platform for various duties
• Calling patient listings for outreach
• Assisting Admin team as directed
• Assisting Medical Records as requested

Requirements:

• HS graduate, college preferred
• Excellent communication skills, in person and over phone
• Analytical, results oriented performer
• EMR experience essential, Epic experience preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a Medical Billing office required
• Certificate in Medical Billing and or Coding preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
