This in office phone triage position located in Germantown, TN is responsible for providing compassionate pediatric patient centered care for our patients and families utilizing guidelines from Barton Schmitt protocols approved by the medical staff. This position also involves electronic communication via the patient portal, taking/reviewing messages for medication refills through the patient portal, scheduling acute appointments, and calling back patients in the am from night nurse calls. The individual must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to consistently provide care appropriate to the age of the patient, pediatric through adolescence. This position relies on great verbal compassionate communication and data-collection skills in carrying out the nursing process. This position pay is dependent on past phone triage experience and level of degree, but is based lower than hospital compensation. Requirements:

• Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Tennessee is preferred: RN or LPN only
• Current CPR certification
• Must be computer literate, extremely reliable/punctual, and have excellent communication skills
• Previous Pediatric/Urgent care/Phone triage experience a plus.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm with flexibility for the early shift from 7:20am to 5:00 pm on occasion.
