Locally owned small business seeks additional team member.

The Pedestrian Shops is a family owned and operated business selling comfortable footwear and accessories. We're seeking an experienced, responsible salesperson who enjoys working with people and being part of a team. This position will include assisting customers, ringing up sales, stock work, light cleaning, and merchandising. As a key holder you will also be responsible for opening and closing the store, being well versed in all store policies, and be comfortable working independently on occasion. We pride ourselves in providing a high-information, low-pressure sales environment - so the desire to learn about the shoes and brands that we carry and then share that knowledge with customers is a must!

Hours / Schedule:
32-40 hours a week. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday shifts are preferred, but we may consider variation. We can guarantee 32 hours but will consider 40 hours for the right candidate.

We are interested in candidates who:

• Have retail sales experience (Shoe sales experience preferred. Apparel, outdoor, or related categories considered.)
• Are available for the shifts listed above
• Are happy working independently and as part of a small team
• Want to help customers find the perfect pair of comfortable shoes

Previous retail sales associate, sales representative, sales assistant experience preferred.
