Looking for a seasonal weekend job to earn extra cash?

Peddler’s Village is hiring seasonal staff to work outside at our weekend festivals and events one weekend a month.

Festivals and Events Team will assist with set up and production of the events which include the following duties :

Peddler’s Village Merchandise Sales Booths

• Sell items related to individual festivals : jams, t-shirts, umbrellas, mugs, and food items.
• Duties include : cash handling, prepping products for sale, bagging products and interacting with guests.
• Lifting and restocking merchandise.
• Note : Job would require standing / walking on your feet for most of the event and some heavy lifting.

Children’s Activities

• Assisting with a variety of children’s activities such as story time, crafts, bounce houses, crafts, and games.
• Duties include assisting guests with crafts, demonstrating activities, and supervising games.
• Note : Must enjoy working with children and would require standing / walking on your feet for most of the event and some heavy lifting.

Festival Clean-Up

• Duties include returning items to the Festivals office, tidying up, and prepping for the next day.
• Note : Job would require standing / walking on your feet for most of the event and some heavy lifting.

Qualifications :

• Availability and commitment to specific weekend dates
• Ability to keep a positive, friendly attitude during stressful situations
• Ability to successfully work with a team
• Enjoys selling products and interacting with the public
• Must have own transportation to Peddler’s Village

Physical Demands :

Ability to walk, stand, and be on your feet for hours during Festival weekends in sometimes prevailing weather conditions

Must be able to lift and / or move up to 25 pounds
