Pedal Kids USA (formerly Buddy Pegs Learn To Ride) is looking for a rock star in the Kansas City Area to help manage our year-round bicycle programs.

Pedal Kids is a rapidly growing youth bicycle coaching business expanding to cities across America from our home base in Bentonville, AR.

Key Performance Areas - Youth Program Manager

You will be supported in the following areas by our existing team of Youth Program Mangers the Buddy Pegs central admin team.

1. Recruit, hire, train, and manage a regional team of coaches.

• Ensure programs are staffed appropriately.
• Ensure that our coaches are delivering safe, enjoyable, riding experiences for children in line with our curriculum and programming goals.
• Nurture the coaching staff with high levels of STOKE and job satisfaction.

2. Manage program logistics for programs at multiple locations around the area.

• Manage coach scheduling well in advance of programming.
• Manage location partner relationships and be the primary point of contact after the sales team has developed them.
• Manage program equipment procurement and movement.
• Look for ways to improve current Pedal Kids processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Serve as the program site supervisor.
• Personally coach classes to gain the perspective of the other teammates.
• Assist with regional events.

3. Marketing our kids bike camps and programs

• Develop genuine relationships with local influencers: bike shops, schools, libraries, churches, Mom's groups etc.
• Help distribute camp flyers and brochures.
• Attend local events to promote Buddy Pegs.
• Look for other ways to connect with local families.

Must be able to regularly drive within the program management area that includes: Johnson County, KS, Jackson, Clay, and Platte Counties, MO.

• Maintain low turn over of coaches
• # of classes offered in the region are in line with our company plan
• NPS score of 8 or higher from parents attending our programs (“How likely are you to recommend Pedal Kids to other friends on a scale of 1-10”)

• Preschool and/or elementary age teachning (preferred but not required)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
