Job Summary:
Operate a variety of equipment utilized in the construction, maintenance, and repair of plant quarry operations.
Essential Functions:
1. Safety always wins. Create a zero-incident environment for people by operating the Loader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Take personal responsibility for safety by wearing all required personal protective equipment and properly following company and OSHA / MSHA safety procedures. Demonstrate a zero tolerance for safety violations by reporting problems to the Plant Manager, Maintenance Dept., Safety Director, or HR Manager by making safety an everyday mindset.
2. Dedication. Follow Daily Procedures & Protocols as set forth in job orientations & trainings.
3. Ownership and caring. Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or needed repairs to supervisor, clean equipment. Assist in maintenance and other physical duties needed on site to keep plants operational.
4. Communicate with coworkers and supervisor in person and using two-way radios.
5. Work life rhythm. Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
