We are looking for a part time Expeditor to join our team at the Eagles Nest restaurant in the PebbleCreek community in Goodyear.

Part time evening availability required!

PURPOSE OF POSITION /SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assembling trays of food according to tickets printed on the food line. Other primary responsibilities include setting up and restocking the food lines and preparing sides or plate set ups according to kitchen management direction. Expeditors may carry and deliver food items to the Guest in the restaurant/dining room. Will perform other duties as assigned.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Prepare trays of food according to tickets printed on the line by gathering each item needed for the order as well as collecting appropriate sauces, dressings, and side items as indicated on the ticket. If needed the expeditor may deliver plates to guests.
• Prepare appropriate sides and plate set-ups according Chef’s specifications
• Additional tasks and duties assigned by Manager on duty such as moving furniture, tables and chairs to set-up for events, washing dishes or waiting tables.
• Expo will prepare the expo line at the beginning of each shift. Line preparation includes stocking all appropriate items such as plate set-ups and “to go” packaging. At the end of each shift, Expo will break down the expo line. This includes restocking used items and sanitizing all work surfaces.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/COMPUTER/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Previous restaurant experience helpful, but not required
• Must have Food Handler’s Card
