Warehouse Specialist/Freight Assistant

Role:

Given our rapid growth, we are looking for a driven, hard-working individual to step-in and support warehouse operations, with a focus on our freight orders. This includes picking and packing orders, receiving inbound shipments, and maintaining a clean facility. Specifically, we are looking for someone that excels in fast-paced, physical environments and is excited to roll up their sleeves and lead from the front.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Assist in driving freight fulfillment: Conduct pick and pack operations throughout the warehouse in a timely manner, with limited supervision
• Assisting with the cutting, sanding, painting/staining of doors
• Assist in daily put away - some inventory
• Maintain the facility: Ensure it is organized, clean and running smoothly
• Support the team: We act as one team and we look to each other for help throughout the week, as needed

Preferred Experience:

• Construction or carpentry background
• Forklift
• Inventory

Physical Requirements:

Requires sufficient physical ability to walk, stand and sit; to frequently bend, squat, crouch, kneel, twist, and make other movements in the performance of daily activities; to reach above shoulders and outward, and lift, carry, push and/or pull heavy amounts of weight. You’ll also need to be able to be on your feet and move heavy product. Must be physically able (with or without accommodation) to lift up to 70 lbs. and can operate basic light equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
