Peas in a pod learning center is looking for an energetic, team player devoted and motivated Early Childcare Center Director to assist in planning, managing and coordinating educational program and daily operation activities of the center in accordance with the center, Bright from the start, and Quality rated policies and procedures. The center director is is responsible for ensuring the health and safety and quality of education of each child within the centers care. The director is directly accountable for overall operational management in accordance with well established guidelines, including curriculum, development, staff and facilities management and long- term planning. The center director will also be responsible for making sure that the needs of the center, staff and children are met appropriately.

Duties

• Interview, and hire staff to ensure all ratios are met.
• Maintain communication with parents of current and perspective students through direct conversation, newsletters, and parent handbooks.
• Ensure that day to day operations are met daily
• Resolve conflicts (including corrective actions when necessary)
• Operating Smartcare.
• Maintain positive relationships with regulatory agencies.
• Maintain professional development plan to ensure continuous quality care.
• Maintain records in accordance with established enrollment procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with staff to develop positive and age appropriate learning activities ; manage adherence to state and local regulations
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Bright from the start rules and regulations.
• Clear Bright from the Start criminal Record check.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
• High Energy.
• Strong oral and written communications; Technology skills.
• Ability to work well with others ( staff, children, and parents).
• A strong understanding of child development.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of Georgia Pre-k program
• Strong knowledge of caps billing and regulations
• Strong knowledge of USDA food program guidelines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
