Pearl's Life House is a In-home Respite Agency in Wisconsin based on faith based guidelines and principles. We are professional, creative, and empowering with a goal to provide excellent in-home respite care to children with Autism. We strive to inspire and encourage all those we serve. We prefer workers with their own transportation to and from work.

Respite Worker

Duties:
- Provide in-home direct support and care to individuals with disabilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care
- Follow individualized care plans and implement appropriate strategies for each individual
- Promote and respect resident rights and dignity at all times
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and engage individuals in meaningful activities

Skills:
- Experience in home care or assisted living settings preferred
- Knowledge of resident rights and person-centered care principles
- Familiarity with assisting individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Ability to provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong patient care skills and ability to respond to medical emergencies if necessary
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing quality care
