Job Summary:

If you are looking for a fast pace, challenging and rewarding position where you could shine then this Scale House position is right for you. Pearl Crop is looking for that unique individual who can handle a fast-paced environment in our scale house. The primary function of this role is to move semi-trucks through the scale in a timely manner for all inbound and outbound loads. This includes documenting, picture taking and uploads, sampling, and grading. Working knowledge of SAP system, a plus.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all drivers check-in and check-out in the logbook.

Document weights coming and going through the scales in a timely manner.

Professionally work with truckers on a day-to-day basis as the primary on-site contact.

Sample in and outbound loads including grading and documenting according to procedure.

Taking pictures of in and outbound loads and uploading them into SAP system as required.

Ensure in and outbound inspections are completed for each load.

Ensure completed documentation packets of the in and outbound loads are submitted to Management within 24 hours for accuracy verification.

Follow attendance and punctuality guidelines set by management.

Attend Safety meetings and training as required.

Other duties, work areas or assignments directed by management or Supervisor.

Follow all Pearl Crop Company policies and procedures.

Follow all GMP and SQF policies and procedures.

Report immediately to management any potential issues.

Requirements:

Must be always safety conscious.

Must be able to work in an extremely fast pace environment.

Substantial attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively relate to team members and management.

Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate effectively with all members of the team, freight brokers and drivers.

Excellent organizational skills and profound ability to schedule multiple activities and resources for efficient and effective utilization.

Strong time management skills.

Efficient computer skills and SAP system knowledge is a plus.

Willingness to learn and retain new procedures quickly.

Wage Scale: $16.50 - $21.00

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $21.00 per hour
